This place is a rare beast, a newly opened record store. I’ve made a couple of visits, most recently picking up a copy of The Stone Roses from 1990. Such a flood of memories both hearing it and seeing it on vinyl. They had some Smiths LPs and a Clutch album all brand new and I was sorely tempted. I get the impression that Ian checks the used vinyl thoroughly for quality and he was more than happy to play the Stone Roses LP for me. If you need further incentive, Records The Good Kind is in the Reins Deli plaza with Just Like New consignment clothing on one side and The Book Rack, a used bookstore on the other. A triumvirate of independent shopping goodness.
