Beautiful old bookstore, stacks from floor to ceiling with quality used books and some new books too. They have a generous collection of art books and a small shelf of collectible Edward Gorey books including a signed copy of The Doubtful Guest (which will cost you $125 in case you’re interested). If you’re a fan, ask to see the box of EG items too valuable for open shelving, they have some interesting items you probably won’t have seen anywhere else. For instance EG gave permission for his illustrations to be used in a pamphlet called “Before I Go” for the Funeral Consumers Alliance. You can download your own copy of this useful guide from www.funerals.org. They also have a shelf of books outside the store under lean-to in case you don’t happen to catch them during store hours.
