Under the swinging sign, down the steps and into the stacks.  Mystery, philosophy, drama, it’s all here.  I’m always on the search for Edward Gorey books and here I found “The World of Edward Gorey”, containing an insightful interview with the artist.  Got some great recommendations from the owner for a new crime author to seek out.  I thought I’d visited all the book shops in Northampton, but this one had somehow escaped me. I would have overlooked it again if I hadn’t stopped by White Square Books in Easthampton earlier in the day and gotten a recommendation from Eileen, for other ‘not-to-be-missed’ book stores in the area.  Definitely a solid collection and a store to add to the list of places to return to again and again.  They don’t have a website, so I’ve included the Facebook holder page that gives the address.
